15th and 16th August 2015
Saturday morning started with light showers but the day brightened. The procession began at Noon from the Clifton Hotel along The Green and back down the main street returning from beyond Lowther Gardens to the Clifton. A big crowd watching in the centre of Lytham.
Battlefield work starts at 1pm.
The Green contains the vehicles, aircraft, helicopters, display and stall tents. Plus a large battlefield near the Windmill. A lot turned out in their 1940s costumes, civilian and military from all sides. British, German, French, US, Soviet and more.
A tent with a dance floor and musicians. Two spitfire replicas, a Hughes 'Huey' helicopter and another small helicopter.
