Trevor Hemmings RIP, 11th June 1935-11th October 2021

The match against Derby at Deepdale was a disappointing draw. It was played in memory to Trevor Hemmings, the wealthy owner of PNE who had died a few days earlier on the 11th October 2021 at the age of 86. Hemmings had risen from bricklayer to owning a portfolio of businesses including at one point Blackpool Tower. He also owned several racehorses and a Grand National winner. PNE had been kept on life support by donations from Hemmings who had been a lifelong fan since moving to the northwest at an early age.
